This search goes deeper than vanity and hits confidence. What do sweaty palms say about you? Wrinkles? A few grey hairs are no bother — and often express experience and wisdom — but do under eye circles and bags reveal stress? Have you always hated your frown lines or sun spots? Learn Cathy's tricks designed especially for men.
Is it true that you can't get skin damage after 4:00 pm, in the winter, if you have black skin, if you only use tanning beds, if you apply SPF 30 every morning, if you never burn, if you're a teenager, if... The answer to all is a huge, resounding YES. If the 'c' weren't bad enough, the sun makes you look older and causes unsightly sun spots and hyperpigmentation.
The day is near, the journey has been long, but my dreams are all coming true. See how I ran my way from fat and what I'll be wearing as I cross the finish line at the London Marathon. Yes, this is me. And yes, I kept my fat pants. These pictures remind me of my journey and hopefully inspire others to follow.
Banish the visible, ageing sins of winter over-indulgence with Cathy's best beauty, body, mind and health tips. Wedding invitations are pouring in, tropical beaches look closer than ever and those heavy jumpers you've been hiding under are being replaced by your favourite spring florals. You can’t hide your winter body or face much longer, so start planning now.
It's always the skin people notice first, revealing your lifestyle, happiness and true age. While you spent your winter eating fat-filled treats and drinking champagne, your skin was suffering. Diet will help erase the evidence, but for truly radiant and youthful skin, bring in the experts: Sculptra, Dermapen, Obagi and others.
What you put inside your body is what you see outside. While most people sort-of already know that, few follow it. It's simple: eat well + live well = look and feel well. It will also save you a fortune on beauty treatments to correct premature signs of ageing or worse, cancer. Read up, stock up and start a new you.
Get ready to erase the sins of winter over-indulgence with my best nutrition, beauty and exercise tips covered in four parts. Don't fret. I make it super easy and advise things like eating more, watching guilt tv (while walking, of course) and slathering on a bit of sunscreen. Much easier than running the London Marathon.
How I train for the London Marathon in April 2016 is sweat, discipline and encouragement, along with the knowledge that I am running for charity (please donate generously to Victa), I am running for myself and I am running for everyone who has ever been bullied or made to feel like they didn't matter.
Charity is a central theme in my life. I believe in supporting my community, being generous of my time and money, and committing to making the world a better place. I am blessed and want to share the love.
My decision to run in the London Marathon is the realisation of a life-long dream. In my 'fat' days, I wasn't fit enough to run - let alone do much else. But now it's different. After a lot of sweet and tears, I am finally in the body I was always meant to have.
London Marathon, just wait until you see me in April. I am training hard - both mentally and physically - and my goal of raising £10,000 for Victa (a charity that helps blind and partially blind children) is already looking good. Follow my diary to learn diet and exercise tips - some beauty ones too.
